BABY BAND PARTIES
Parties are a lovely way to earn extra income, generally with families you already know from classes. A party lasts 45 minutes for up to 16 children, with a bespoke playlist and a gift for the birthday child, costing £200 per party.

BEFORE A PARTY
Families enquire via the dedicated party section of the website. Liaise to agree a date and time, the family finds the venue, you plan and deliver the session. Ask for 8-10 of the family's favourite songs to build a bespoke Spotify playlist, and send your session plan for their approval. Once approved, invoice the family for the full amount, due within 2 weeks (blank invoice template on the shared Google Drive). Each party child gets a Baby Band t-shirt gift, order sizes in advance through the franchise section of the website. A couple of days before, check in with the family to confirm details and your actual start time, and ask permission to take photos for marketing.

DELIVERING THE PARTY
Arrive 30 minutes before your part of the session starts (this may not be the start of the whole party). Set up mats and the instrument table as you would for a normal class. Play a generic arrival playlist and stay calm, parties can be a stressful, important day for the family. During the session, introduce yourself, keep things relaxed, work through the session plan (don't forget Happy Birthday!), and expect a different, more free-flowing feel than a normal class, simply hand out instruments, play, and collect back in.

AFTER YOUR SESSION
Give out stickers and stamps, thank everyone, then tidy away and quietly exit while the party continues. Thank your hosts and ask if everything went well; if they have party bags, pop in a Baby Band flyer for future enquiries. Clean equipment at home rather than at the venue.
