YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A FRANCHISEE
Early on you'll handle every role yourself, delivering classes while also running the business. As you grow, consider bringing in help with day-to-day operations. Keep checking in on how your business operates rather than just staying in the day-to-day, balancing working on the business, not just in it.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Respond to enquiries/questions/concerns quickly and professionally, build genuine relationships with families, and communicate frequently and clearly about upcoming classes.
CLASS MANAGEMENT
Identify and book suitable venues, proactively oversee class quality, market your business to find local customers, and ensure effective execution of your business plan.
ADMINISTRATION
Keep all classes correctly listed on the website with enquiries promptly answered, record customer details correctly per GDPR, and take consent for any customer images used in marketing or social media.
SAFEGUARDING
Follow the Child Safeguarding Policy at all times. Ensure any team member interacting with children has read and understood it, and that you and your team hold valid Enhanced DBS certificates.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS
Initially you should manage the business yourself without needing to recruit, though Baby Band encourages growth and can help with hiring additional teachers when you're ready.
UNIFORM & DRESS CODE
Wear dark, unpatterned gym leggings plus a Baby Band branded t-shirt and hoodie (one of each supplied in your franchise fee). Order further uniform via Christina Cullen at Mutha Maker (brochure on the shared Google Drive).
