SOCIAL MEDIA
Facebook and Instagram are the easiest and most effective way to reach existing and potential customers. Every franchisee is allocated a Facebook and Instagram page; Charlotte sets these up and provides login details after your contract is signed. Baby Band remains Admin on all accounts. Post to your pages at least 3 times a week (plus daily stories) to stay visible and keep selling places in your classes and events, following posting rules and maintaining Baby Band's professionalism throughout. Keep content informal, informative and relevant, putting yourself into your posts is what builds trust with customers. Take advantage of local selling pages and baby groups to advertise dates, events and locations weekly, and share highlights after classes, parties and events. Any post featuring children must have parental consent; don't use consented photos on external selling-site posts, professional photos with sharing consent are fine for that. It's your responsibility to check photo permissions for your classes and events.
POSTS & CANVA
Use the shared templates folder for ready-made post ideas and content, don't deviate from these templates as new ones are added to Canva over time. Stay impartial and professional, Baby Band never negatively references competitors, nor retaliates if mentioned negatively. Raise any online content concerns with Charlotte. Canva access is for Baby Band team use only (not personal projects), using approved brand-kit templates, logos and colours, in a dedicated folder for your own designs. Boosted/paid advertising is optional and covered by the franchisee; speak to Charlotte for support with sponsored adverts.
SUGGESTED POSTING SCHEDULE
A weekly posting planner template (and blank copy) is available on the shared Google Drive, mixing static images, carousels (up to 10 photos) and reels through the week to build a consistent routine.
SCHEDULING WITH META BUSINESS SUITE
Meta Business Suite is a free, easy way to schedule posts to both Facebook and Instagram at once.
SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS
Inviting local influencers to sessions can drive traffic and bookings. Choose accounts local to you, with an appropriate, child-friendly feel. Be upfront about what you're offering (aim for 4000-5000+ followers minimum for free classes); search hashtags like #muminfluencer or #mummyblogger. Invite them a few minutes early for photos, and ask for both a grid post and stories reviewing the session. Thank them warmly for visiting, showing genuine interest builds a better relationship than treating it purely as business.
RECOMMENDED MARKETING ACTIVITIES
Linktree on your bio, up-to-date social homepages, 3+ active stories daily, 3 posts plus 1 reel weekly, roller banner and printed media at every class, hashtags and relevant tags on every post, at least 1 monthly email newsletter to your mailing list, and attending Baby Band's recommended training and events.
